Meet The Team

April
Say hello to April, our Founder!
Rewild & Thrive was born from a deep passion and purpose, woven through April’s journey of 22 years working in People & Wellbeing.
As a certified coach, with expertise in the Gallup Wellbeing Wheel, April has spent years creating wellbeing retreats within corporate settings. But she had a bigger dream: to make wellbeing accessible to everyone, not just a workplace perk.
Blending her love of nature, the outdoors, and human connection, Rewild & Thrive came to life — offering affordable, soul-nourishing retreats packed with goodness.
And here’s what truly makes us different:
Rewild & Thrive is a non-profit CIC (Community Interest Company). That means 100% of our profits go straight back into funding wellbeing retreats and activities for individuals escaping domestic violence and abuse.
Why this cause?
Because April has lived it.
She knows what it feels like to lose your sense of identity, and she’s fiercely passionate about helping others rediscover their self-worth, self-esteem, and sense of belonging.
By attending one of our retreats, you’re not just investing in your own wellbeing — you’re helping to change someone else’s life too.
When April isn’t working on Rewild & Thrive she leads the people function of an East Midlands based business.
To unwind April loves swimming in cold water or going out walking.
The rest of her time is spent chasing around a lively toddler

Hayley
Hayley is the life blood of Rewild & Thrive, she is the one making sure you are all kept up to date with our monthly newsletters, sending out your booking confirmation emails and essentially making sure everything runs smoothly on the day of the retreats.
Hayley’s superpower is getting all the little details right, using her creative talents to add those special little touches to the day. She is also a ninja organiser!
Without Hayley the retreat days would simply not run so smoothly and we couldn’t imagine Rewild & Thrive without her on the team.
In addition to all of this Hayley is a certified Mental Health First Aider. So you know you are in good hands and there is always someone on hand to look out for you on the day.
Hayley has also created our Wellness Action Plan, this ensures the strategic objectives of Rewild & Thrive are aligned to supporting mental health and wellbeing.
So you can rest assured that by attending one of our retreats, everything has been considered to ensure your safety and enjoyment.
When Hayley isn’t working her magic for Rewild & Thrive, you can find her out walking or spending quality time with her husband and teenage daughter.
